One of the most significant differences between English and Japanese is structure and subject. (日本語と英語の一番大きな違いは構造と主語です）
So it’s hard for foreign nationals to pick the first word to speak in Japanese and they would come up with just a word.（外国人にとって日本語を話す時に最初の言葉を選ぶのが大変で単語だけで口にすることがあります）
“I don’t know what the future may hold” in Japanese is going to be （” ”を日本語にすると）
「このさきはどうなるかわからない」Konosaki wa donaruka wakaranai.
In the sentence, the subject is “konosaki: what lies ahead” and Japanese people don’t use “I” as a subject that often. （この一文の主語は「この先」で日本人はあまり主語に「私」を使いません）
“I’m tired today.” is going to be （「今日は疲れた」はこのようになります）
「きょうはつかれました」Kyo wa tsukaremasita.
There is no “I” in the Japanese sentence. （この文には「私」はありません）。
